What's up with all the debate on abortion on the forum lately? Could anyone tell me why it has become such a huge issue all of a sudden?

Yeah, I remember back a couple months ago when gun control was being debated all of the time. I think it's time to move on to gay marriage while we're on abortion. It's the only logical move I can think of. What does everyone else think?
