I've never seen it outside of a few minutes one time. Didn't really strike my fancy. But I think that people should be able to do what they want. If it doesn't hurt anyone else, what do I care?
Is obsessing over My Little Pony weird? Sure. Are some of them obsessing for bad reasons? Probably. But I'd bet that most people just like the show, with no ulterior motives. Again, I'll agree that it's weird, but most of us probably do things just as weird as watch a show about friendship.
Judging people as perverts or losers because of this is more messed up than watching a kids show.
My opinion of bronies is "kind of weird." Nothing really positive or negative. But I roll my eyes at people getting on their high horse (or, in this case, high pony--
ba-dum-tiss) making assumptions and judgements on bronies and their motives.
Since when has sexism as a whole been outdated? Sure, certain parts of it get tossed aside, but sexism itself? It's all the rage these days, as it always has been.
Correct, sexisim is all the rage these days. But it shouldn't be. Faust's take on it is eye-opening to those who put blanket labels on bronies, and I thank Evergreen for providing that quote, which is more meaningful than someone like me typing away long-winded nonsense on my keyboard.
"You kids wanna come with me? I've got all the seasons of My Little Pony."
So...someone liking a show made for kids means it's likely they want to sexually abuse kids?
Should we also put all chefs on a watchlist for knifing people?
Assuming people's actions based on the worst example is just as unhealthy, if not more unhealthy, than a grown person watching a kids show about friendship.
