I now open this to the floor for debate, a day short of the two-month anniversary since it passed the House! Tongue

I'm not sure yet how to go about phrasing this, but I am thinking about an amendment to ensure that the funds are prioritized to communities where this service would be most beneficial. Setting up banking services in wealthy communities is probably a waste of taxpayer dollars.

Amendment adopted.

Anyone eager to amend this further, or is it time for a final vote?

Crap sorry!

Aye FTR

With 5-6 members voting in favor, and 0-1 not voting, this bill has passed--since it was amended it will now go back to the House.
