My fellow members of United Alternative, I now cede the floor to my newly appointed Vice Chair, Cris. He will be handling the administration of this Convention. Until Cris posts the introduction, I will ask any posts to be deleted.

I support appointing a new steering committee, but not a new chair, at least not until after all planned convention proceedings have concluded.

Also, if the party at large wants dissolution, I will not stand in the way, but I will not support it without evidence that it has significant support.

I need a new Vice Chair who can do administrative things. Cris is on at weird times.

The Steering Committee is hereby dissolved. Anyone who wishes to vote on it may motion for it and a vote will be held.

I hereby propose the Steering Committee be replaced with one or two Vice Chairs. In twelve hours, if this is seconded, a vote will be held on whether or not to replace it and whether there should be one or two Vice Chairs. Without a seconding, a vote may not be begun until 24 hours have passed. Should anyone object, a vote may be opened at any time as to whether or not a vote should be held.
