I just wanted to bump this thread because I knew it would re-appear again...Hillary used this attack at the debate tonight..

Embracing the goddess' energy within yourselves,
Will bring all of you to a new understanding and value of life.
A vision that inspires you to live and love on Planet Earth.
Like a priceless jewel,
Buried in dark layers of soil and stone.
Earth radiates her brilliant beauty,
Into the caverns of space and time.
Perhaps you are aware of those who watch over your home,
And experience it as a place to visit and play with reality.
You are becoming aware of yourself as a gamemaster.

Trump may be a scumbag, but Hillary is actually worse.  That's how bad a situation our nation is in today.

You have no clue what the words "better" or "worse", "good" or "evil" mean. That is the extent to which you have lost any moral compass.

I know that it is better to be an obnoxious cad than to commit sexual assault, or actively discredit a victim of sexual assault when there is something in it for me in making the allegation go away.

I know it is better to tell the truth under oath, even when it is in your best interest not to do so (if you believe you can get away with it) then it is to lie.

I know it is better to be faithful to your spouse than to cheat.

After the Clinton Administration, I gained the credentials to be a facilitator of Batterers Intervention Program groups.  It was an experience that enabled me to see domestic violence and female victims in an entirely different light.  I could talk at length about that, but one thing I remember is how victims were frequently disparaged by perpetrators who called them, essentially, nuts and sluts and liars.  These perpetrators, at best, minimized their behaviors, and, at worst, denied them, and blamed their partners.  I remember one group member who denied the allegations and called his partner a liar.  In the midst of his groups, he was arrested for a new incident.  One group member told another group member (in my presence) of this person's rearrest.  The other group member, who never confronted the newly arrested person in group, excitedly uttered, "AGAIN???"  It was incredibly difficult to bring these folks to come to the point where they would take even a minimum of responsibility for their actions.

It is through these lenses that I now see Kathleen Willey and Juanita Broaddrick.  They were victimized, they wanted to be believed, they were attacked for disclosing their victimization, and they were called liars and crazies by folks who had credibility in their lives.  It would be enough for a victim if their family, their boss, and their significant other didn't believe they were beaten or sexually assaulted, but imagine if your perpetrator went on to be President, and then, after you have been actively discredited by THE PRESIDENT'S WIFE, events turn to where the President's wife is on the cusp of the Presidency herself.  How blown would your mind be?

I will also say this to many of the females here who would consider themselves feminists:  Juanita Broaddrick and Kathleen Willey are women who have been victimized and who have every reason to believe that the Feminist Movement has sold them out for the glory Hillary will bring their movement.  I hope you can honestly reflect on this.  Judas Iscariot betrayed the Savior for 30 pieces of gold, after which he couldn't bear living with himself for even 12 hours.  As yourselves if you are not the Judas Iscariot of Kathleen Willey and Juanita Broaddrick.

Dude, Clinton is one of the most charismatic men of the last century, it's well known that he's a ladies man, he was extremely ambitious and knew he'd have a highly public career in politics from the time he was in college, do you really think he had to resort to raping women?  The guy was probably able to charm the pants off of most girls at the time, but instead he risked his life and entire career to rape some random married 36-year-old nursing home admin in a city he was visiting during his run for governor?  Doesn't that strike you as a bit implausible?

As for Kathleen Willey, who's been showboating the case ever since and launched an anti-Clinton website, she was a known and proven liar and manipulator, there was testimony from her close associates that she had asked them to join her in lying, she couldn't even keep her own story straight and her story was different from Linda Tripp's story about her.  Not only is there insufficient evidence to believe she's telling the truth, there's more than sufficient evidence to believe she's a liar.  Yet you and your Clinton sex scandal friends rotate these women's stories as soon as people forget them.  People have figured out he didn't rape Flowers?  On to Willey.  People have figured out he didn't rape Willey?  On to Broaddrick.  It's pathetic.

I'm lining up Hillary's words with her deeds.

What Hillary said in 2015 is that the way Juanita Broaddrick and Kathleen Willey were done in the 1990s is not OK by her for today's victims.  They must be heard, they must be given belief at the outset, and the matter ought to be investigated fairly and impartially.  These women were NEVER dealt with in the way Hillary Clinton says women in that position ought to be dealt with, and, indeed, Hillary Clinton was the reason for that being so.

Why would Bill Clinton risk everything to grope Kathleen Willey?  If he did, the answer is because he has an untreated pathology which leads folks to take outlandish risks in carrying out their toxic actions.  Victims of domestic and sexual violence and their advocates would consider your "Ladies' Man" description of Bill to be minimizing and marginalizing what they have suffered, and for the sake of politics no less.  I know a number of folks who could accurately be described as liberal feminists who have, indeed, been "Ready for Hillary" since 2008 who are now at least conflicted; they are voting for Hillary, but the hero-worship has abated.

I'm under no illusions about Donald Trump.  The lustre of an protectionist, anti-globalist, anti-interventionist candidate that was the Donald Trump of the primaries has worn off, and the maddening (seeming) lack of self-control remains.  But the lustre of a dishonest, self-seeking bitter narcissist (Clinton) who would crush people who have been injured by Bill (or by her, for that matter) while saying its wrong to do so for others seems to never lose its sheen.  That's not a judgement, but it IS an observation.

Your whole entire phony moral outrage stems from one stupid line that she probably didn't even write and later had taken off her website.  Get over it.

As for your desperate attempt to believe that Bill Clinton is a serial rapist, the prior of having such a pathology is obscenely low, and the only evidence supporting it is a couple very sketchy cases over four decades in public life, none of which have any supporting evidence, and all of which were "discovered" by people who had the ulterior motive of wanting to destroy Clinton.  Ever think it's strange that, after he wasn't in the presidency anymore, people suddenly stopped making these accusations?  If he's such a pathological serial rapist, don't you think he'd be taking more risks once his career ended?  Of course you realize all this... but you won't admit it, because you're desperate to believe the outlandish claims of the far-right so that you can justify your feel-good support of Trump.

really? the presumptive Republican nominee referred to a Latina woman as "Miss Housekeeping" and you don't think people aren't going to notice?
Any evidence that this woman's claims about what he said are true?

What evidence do you need? Trump hasn't denied any of it and tripled down on her fat shaming.
Well she didn't deny that she drove the getaway car for a murder or threatened the life of a judge in Venezuela when Anderson Cooper asked her about that. As for fat shaming it was part of her job as 'Miss Universe' not to become overweight, that was in her contract. He had every right to sack her, and was urged to do so, but instead he generously hired a personal trainer to help her with her weight. And now she's thrown that back in his face, not very nice.

Trump is running for president.  His behavior is what is relevant here.  It's irrelevant whether Machado did sketchy things after the fact -- it might hurt her credibility if Trump were to deny the allegations but he's done the exact opposite.

I think most people agree that if your job is to maintain a certain physique then you shouldn't gain 50 pounds.  But nobody thinks that makes it OK to call her "Miss Piggy", "Miss Housekeeping", "Eating Machine", to frequently humiliate her in public, or to shame her by having a surprise cadre of tabloid journalists and paparazzi surround her while she's exercising.  Or to be wake up at 4 in the morning to sneak your phone away from Kellyanne Conway so you can tell America to go watch her sex tape that doesn't even exist.  I haven't heard a single person even try to defend Trump on any of these things.  Instead they try to win a strawman argument about whether it's ok for a Miss Universe to gain weight or whether or not she's a good person.

The Trump people know that what Trump did was wrong.  So they keep trying to confuse the issue by arguing about things that nobody is arguing about.  When they do this, we know we've won.
