The entire GOP field would take up so much time, but I feel they could condense it to a quarter. This way they get the most important and juicy information, as opposed to a lot of inside information in 2012 that ultimately fell short to the inside look at '08. Each candidate would get a chapter but for the final four, and the rest of the primaries would show detailed campaign reactions.
Yeah the 2012 book was a bit of a letdown compared to the brilliancy that was the 2008 book, but I feel like there honestly just wasn't as much of a story to tell. There was only one primary, there was nothing like the ferocity of the 2008 race between Clinton and Obama, there weren't any fascinating characters like Palin, and Obama ran a pretty tight ship. That all said, the writing around the debates is probably my favorite of either book.
