Who is the most popular statewide elected official in each state? Out of the governor and either senator. In Indiana it would have been Pence up until the religous freedom fiasco. Im not sure about now.

In Indiana Mitch Daniels is the most popular politician, despite people from out if state thinking its Evan Bayh. The man won downtown Indy in 2008. I would guess Coats and Donnely are both relatively anonymous and Pence is well known but polarizing.

People don't like Bayh? What about Lugar? People over 14 all still know that name
Bayh and Lugar are both still popular, just not as much as Daniels. Bayh is the patron saint of Indiana democrats, and Lugar is respected among all but disliked strongly by the conservative base.

This is interesting. It seems there are some states that like both senators and the governor and other states where all are relatively unpopular or unknown.
