The Keep The Baby Act
1. Single moms shall recieve $500 at the child's birth, $250 every year after to age 8. If the father is involved in the child's future, then it's $250 at birth, $100 every year after.
2. Those considering abortion will have 3 sessions of therapy before the abortion, and 3 sessions after.
3. Adoption services shall be reformed to allow single men with a steady job to adopt children, likewise individuals with minor offenses on their criminal record shall be allowed to adopt.
4. If a mother chooses to give a child up for adoption, their right to see the child shall not be infringed upon. Likewise the father.
5. If a mother gives a child up for adoption without the father's consent, the father shall be rewarded with joint custody with the adoptive parents.

Refugee Act of 2016
1. A system shall be set up for refugees from Syria and other war torn nations to come in to Atlasia.
2. The system shall be as follows; a background check, psych evaluation, then the citizenship test. Should an individual fail the citizenship test, they'll be given a 1 week wait time then take it again. A fail in the background check or psych evaluation will result in the refusal to allow an individual to come in.
3. The Northeast shall not discriminate against any race, gender, sexual orientation, or religion
4. This bill only has jurisdiction in the Northeast and serves as a place holder until the Atlasian Senate approves a bill to replace this one.
5. Should the Senate already have a system in place, this bill is nullified.

The Fight Road Hypnosis Act
1. Various signs, not necessarily having to do with instructions and directions, will be put sporadically on every highway in the Northeast.
2. Various flowers will be grown alongside the roads.
3. The Regional government will work with state and local governments on this project.
4. The assembly will have a one time payment of $50 million initially, $20 million every year after to keep up maintenance.

1. The Assembly hereby designates $300 million to helping soldiers and veterans overcome PTSD.

Sir, does the Northeast intend to imply that private businesses are banned from creating rooms where they inform you if you swear inappropriately or offend someone overly much you will be removed? I ask then if, as legal consistency would suggest, you support regional affirmative action in businesses, labor unions, and schools/colleges?

This is one of the stupidest things I have ever read on this forum, and there have been plenty.

Speaking your mind freely and going to the point of threatening the lives of others, are quite different.  You make no provision in this ridiculous bill to make it illegal to, for example, threatening someone's life, and saying you are simply are expressing your freedom of speech.

Safe zones from freedom of speech are hereby banned?  What are you even talking about?  Since when can the government legislate or dictate or police what people say in private?

No wonder this forum is suffering an activity problem.  With stupid legislation such as this nonsense even making it to the point of being proposed I do not wonder why people do not want to participate.

Cut  this stupidity and get on with matters that at least have a tiny bit of sense to them.       

I already withdrew it for a rewrite, but name calling is a very adult thing to do. People make mistakes, obviously I didn't think on this bill enough. A simple "hey, this is what's wrong with this bill" would've been enough. It's not the stupidity of people that's slowing down activity, it's people jumping up to accuse people of being stupid when they make mistakes that is slowing it down.

You, sir, are contributing to the fall of this game. Instead of attacking people, try recognizing that we are all human, and help people when thy make mistakes.

The Safer Schools Act
1. All locks on doors inside of publicly funded schools are hereby banned.
2. Public schools are hereby authorized to hire armed guards.
3. All public schools are required to have an extensive gun safety course.
4. The Assembly will dedicate $50 million to help fund the armed guards.
