The guy cant get sh*t done in one state.  How could he get things done across the country?

However, it looks like he will get re-elected in 2006.  O'Malley is to liberal for most of the counties.  Duncan is our best shot and 3/4 of the people in the state never heard of the guy.  Still, its going to be close regardless of the Dem nominee.  If Ehrlich is re-elected it will only be by about 2-3%.

God help me if my choice in 2006 is Ehrlich or O'Malley --- I'd probably vote Libertarian.

Who else do you think can get the Democratic nomination?  Montgomery County Executive Doug Duncan looks like a strong candidate, but nobody outside of MoCo knows the guy.  Ive heard Ben Cardin may run, but like Duncan I really dont know a whole lot about him.

You could have a choice of these crooks :

Schaefer
Schmoke

Both losers who I can't stand.

My first choice to run against Ehrlich would be Congressman Dutch Ruppersberger, but he was just re-elected to the house.  I doubt very much he has even thought about running.

Im not answering for him, but O'Malley really hasnt done much in the city that would make him worthy to be Governor.  Murders are still up, he cant decide on a police cheif, and the schools still suck.  There is probably some good stuff to go along with the bad, but I really cant think of anything.

Does anyone have Ehrlich's approval ratings?

Ive seen one poll that has him at 49% and another that has him 55%.
