I think a draft should be an option under the most extreme circumstances when the public generally agrees on the reasoning behind the war.  WW II was an acceptable time for a draft because the country was attacked by a foreign nation and mass genocide was going on in Europe.  I would never support a draft for the War in Iraq.  We should have never been there in the first place.
