Manchin is West Virginia's favorite son, it would be somewhat close if it was Manchin vs Trump, but in a Manchin vs Generic Establishment Republican match-up (I.e, Manchin vs Pence), West Virginia easily votes for their favorite son over a generic Republican.

States don't swing almost 50 points just because of candidates. I'm not saying it wouldn't dramatically swing/trend D, but it isn't flipping.
