I've always liked the Old American Century posters, even if their messages are a tad... overt.

Not sure what the Latin quotation means.

For Gabu: Much better than the one I had, I'll admit.

For Al: Sorry, I don't know who Irving Howe is, but I'll get right onto Wikipedia.

We were so close to making it a Predator/Gubernatorial trifecta.

Bush pic: Unbeknownst to him, opening the can would cause several brightly colored plastic snakes to pop right into his face.

Reagan quote: The man had a valid point, and therefore it's a shame that the current administration chose to keep the populace in constant fear of semi-mythical 'trrrsts'.

The rest: wtf?

I have a couple Garbage albums.  I like the band, but clearly not as much as Clay does. Smiley

See it?  It was never a movie.

God I thought it was a movie!?

You're most likely thinking of F&L in Las Vegas, with Johnny Depp and Benicio Del Toro.  F&L on the Campaign Trail '72 was only ever a book.

He reminds me of Johnny Depp's character in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

An odd coincidence, wouldn't you say? Wink

Depp spent several weeks camped out at Thompson's ranch trying to mirror his character just right.  Thompson was reportedly flattered by his portrayal on screen.
