That should swing at least 35 superdelegates, I'd estimate.

According to Wikipedia, Senator Barbara Boxer intends to vote for Hillary Clinton, in deference to the latter's win in California.  She will not actually endorse either of them, however.

Teresa Heinz Kerry and Jane Fonda endorsed Obama yesterday.  That oughta do him a ton of favors.  Grin

As if Heinz Kerry and Fonda weren't bad enough, Jimmy Carter gives a very obvious hint about who he's supporting:

Ah well, the fact that he's a superdelegate should help to soften the blow.

Add-on Arkansas superdelegate Mark Wilcox has endorsed Hillary Clinton.  That means that she has the support of all but one of the twelve superdelegates from Arkansas.

Also, Margaret Campbell, the Montana superdelegate mentioned in the previous post, has had to retract her official endorsement of Barack Obama due to party rules.  Of course, that doesn't really move her back into the 'uncommitted' column in real terms.

"Hillary is a smart, pragmatic leader who understands the grave situation our country faces, with a $9 trillion debt, much of which is borrowed from foreign countries."

I didn't realize that Hillary's debts were quite that bad.

Former DNC chair Paul Kirk has endorsed Obama.

There you go. That cancels out Easley (though actually Bingaman already did.)

Kirk has been in Obama's camp since February.

"Bill George, president of the Pennsylvania AFL-CIO and a Democratic superdelegate, today announced he is supporting the presidential candidacy of Hillary Clinton."

Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

You're 5½ hours late in breaking the news, I'm afraid.  Tongue

According to Wikipedia, Clinton's superdelegate lead is down to 12.5.  CNN has her leading by only 10.

A pledged delegate for Clinton has said he'll vote for Obama at the convention, and is urging others like him to do the same.

The only "young" superdelegate remaining then is the one male in the group who is VP of Young Democrats. And I think he's the youngest superdelegate overall at 21.

The guy you're thinking of is David Hardt, who is the President of the YDA, not VP.  He made signals during the campaign in his home state of Texas that he'd endorse Clinton, but didn't.

Jason Rae of Wisconsin is the youngest superdelegate overall.

I was going to wonder aloud why Maryland had so many superdelegates, but then I realized that it must be awash in DNC members.

Correct.  18 of the 28, in fact.

Look at the bold word and think about it.

(Many vastly underestimate the feminazi vote.)

Please tell us all about Pilar Lujan.  I'm afraid I don't know anything about her, but luckily it seems that you've read up on her already.
