Think about people we remember today that were around in 1931. Here's a small sample:
-Bartok
-Duke Ellington
-Bing Crosby
Some of you might not be familiar with Bartok, because you haven't wrangled with his "Hungarian Pictures" and it's crazy time signatures/aren't band nerds. There aren't a whole lot that people remember by name, although there are a lot I'm not listing here.

The point is, only the most impactful of the impactful will be remembered later.
