@Peebs: Sorry your parents are being terrible. Sad
I know I've complained in a similar fashion before, but considering other possibilities with other parents, I consider them as being mediocre at worst, and slowly becoming less so.

Made the mistake of trying to walk home when my bus was late. Wound up arriving 10 minutes later than I would have had I waited for the bus.
That's why I said "They're being terrible" since I haven't heard enough to know whether they're terrible in general. You have every right to be upset about this though.
Fair enough. Although, I don't even feel upset per se. More mildly annoyed than anything else. Now, if I made more of an effort to enforce my gender and they still didn't make an effort to comply with it, then I'd be upset.

As long as the weather is nice and I'm not in a rush to get home (which, admittedly, I usually am), I'm OK taking longer to get home if I can walk instead of sitting on a bus. Buses are hell.
My bus is usually okay, I just felt as if I was Marshall vs. the Machines for some reason.

Further update: Made a joke about NC-GOV, which led to my mom saying that "no group has more fuckasses than others" and explaining her force of habit of referring me by my birth name. Apparently, the old man is apathetic on the issue.

It's still chilly here and there's snow everywhere,
Lucky! It went from snow everywhere in the morning to absolutely sweltering by nightfall a week or two back. Right now, we've settled at sweltering for the next nine months.

I was supposed to have finished rewatching season 2 of Grace and Frankie tonight. I still haven't finished season 1.

Of course when I actually do something, the computer freezes.

Saw the nurse, and everything appears to be fine. I did not have a heart attack after all.

Not trying to be rude, but are you sure it wasn't acid or anxiety causing that?
Chances are it probably was. Anyway, I had another "heart attack" this morning, although I'm not gonna see the nurse about it this time because the last, everything was fine (as mentioned).

Do you have yearly appointments with a doctor?  I think you should ask them about it next time just to make sure there's nothing that needs closer monitoring.
I think, although I don't know when my next will be. I've had chest pains before (and I was supposed to see a specialist about it, but that never materialized), but none so sudden and sharp.
It's probably a panic attack if it's not CV related.
That might be true, but the first time, my midterms had just been completed (and I did quite well), and the second, I had just woken up, so I'm not sure what could cause a panic attack.

Making a project out of mangling The Leap Back, and I am getting as much crap past the radar as possible. Considered adding an IASIP reference, but it might be too much.

Added IASIP reference, muted for school version. On a sidenote, I'm "remastering" it (read: adding what I was supposed to), and I almost outed myself to my teacher by typing my name instead of my birthname. Potential disaster averted, I guess. Tongue

Was taking a nap where I dreamed of meeting the sweetest girl with long brown hair and glasses and going on a date with her . . .
To dream the impossible dream... (Too soon?)

Like I said in PM, happy birthday! Also, that was your 2000th post. My condolences on that part.

Me to myself hearing quotes in Quantum Leap and taking them too seriously:

I'm mostly moved into my new house. Still some stuff to plug in and boxes to unpack, but still, I'm settled.

Brought the fourth season of Quantum Leap with me to school (so I can watch it at the apartment).
My grandmother died today, but it has been long coming, she really has been suffering a lot and not really living lately. While I do feel sad, I also feel like she, and my father who was strongly suffering seeing his mother's condition, finally have peace.
I have to say that all of this increased my support for euthanasia- for what is life, really, if you just suffer all day long and know that there is no hope for recovery? It's not really life.

So sorry for your loss, my friend.

tfw you try working on your voice and you accidentally use it in the general direction of your dad. He didn't make note if it, but I was still kinda shocked about the fact. Tongue

I honestly feel bad that more people are paying attention to me playing Rayman than the fact that Enduro became a published author. Tongue

Oooh, is it the Great Escape? I just love that one!
No, the first one, on the PlayStation. Although, 2 is almost certainly next (and Antonio, 3 will follow that). This answers Arch's question as well.
(EDIT: It was 3-2 when I started typing. Due to Kal's response, it became 3-3. Still, I feel bad about it Tongue)
