Even a pro-LGBTQI* party may have an LGBTQI*-group. Just have a look at the British LGBT Labour and its sister groups. Issue- and demographic based groups in political parties are a good idea to provide that the implied issues are still on the table and will not be forgotten by the national party. It is also a guarantee that any efforts taken in these political areas by the party are well thought out by experts and not amateurish measures.

I fully support your idea, Lok, and I will look forward to represent this group's interest in the next session of the house, so count me as in.

Well, I was more referring to >75% of Labor being LGBT, but yes, I do believe this is a good idea.
