Run for reelection (president) anyway, as I can have hired goons break into / wiretap my opponent's HQ in order to dig up some dirt to use.

That depends on the condition of these cats, and how big the house I live in to contain these cats and gerbils is.

Sail a boat or pilot a plane?

A quaint 1 story, 3 bedroom / 1 bathroom, but one bedroom is filled with stacks of newspapers and diapers. Control of this room has largely been ceded to the gerbils. Cats are wayward yet in good condition, but smell, and may lead one to wonder what the previous owners were feeding them.
