I don't even know what's going on with this race. I think both parties probably were a bit riled up, but Gianforte is now considered to be totally at fault here. I think a formal apology and fine will make up for the assault's criminal aspect, and certainly this man will be getting sued later on. What's really necessary here is for the other gentleman in the race, the Democrat, to come out swinging, because if he doesn't win, we have a misdemeanant in the US Congress. Not sure if that's the look the GOP wants right now.
