Hey guys, I'd love to get involved in the game. Looks like a lot of fun.
Any characters left to snatch up?

One of my favourites. I'll take him if that's perfectly alright.

Any hint to where the second POV will be set?

I may try and bang out a Stannis POV before the end of the turn...

So long as Badgate is confident he can mod on his own it's fine by me. I think having mid-level lords in the game is quite important. In ASOIAF how the Lord Paramounts deal with the lords under their control is just as important as how they deal with their enemies (See: Robb Stark.)

@Garlan: I imagine Varys would be a difficult one to pull off seeing as he doesn't control any armies or the like. Would he fit the game? I'd suggest your friend pick some mid-level Lord they have an affinity with (JonCon, Rosby, Florent, Hightower, Dayne...)

Any further update on when we can expect the end of the turn?

So. I was told this place is fun. Which noble house to ruin first and as whom?

There are many middling houses available at present. We have someone playing as Roose Bolton, for example. Any lord you wish should be alright.

I have a friend who wants to join up and plans on taking Lord Royce, just to let ye know. He should be making an account later today - hopefully he can join in on this turn.

Bran was 7 during his first POV. Renly is almost 6. It's a possibility?

Somehow I knew what that would be before I clicked it.
Don't sweat it, Badgate. Just keep us updated and we can wait.

Can't Waldy be allowed to fight on as Black Waldy? Last game saw certain triumphs from positions worse than his!

PS: hasn't Lord Tarly got off strangely lightly from his rumble in the jungle? no casualties at all and still in Tumbleton...?!

PPS As ever my quibbling in no way negates my wild appreciation of the update xxx

Yeah, it also seems like my 10,000 man sellsword army is unaccounted for in Stannis's army count?

I've been absorbed with other pursuits - still here though... lurking and scheming.

Nice POVs guys. Well done.

Just wanted to clarify something regarding the Martell POV though... If Randyll Tarly is in King's Landing, what does this mean for his army at Tumbleton? Is it still there under a different commander or is it with him in KL?

Randyl took his army to the capital after escaping your trap in the Kingswood, I may have forgotten to change his army's location in the army post. Thanks for pointing that out

It was actually Quentyn Tyrell. Quentyn Martell is a baby in Dorne Tongue

Oh, alright. Thanks for letting me know.

Haha, that makes sense. I just assumed that because he got burned by fire he was the Quentyn we all know and love... Oh.

We could start up another game independent of this one and play it until (and after) Badgate comes back, if he ever does. If he doesn't at least we'll have our new game to get our fix of intrigue and betrayal and all that good stuff.

An English history one would be great. Maybe near the end of the 14th century with Richard II and all that fun stuff. Though I don't really have the time at the moment to run it myself unfortunately.
In regards to ASOIAF I'd be happy with another one set around the time of the books - maybe at the very end of ADWD. Or perhaps one set just a bit before the conquest and Aegon can invade mid-game.

I say it's best to leave it too - Badgate will likely return.
In the meantime... Who's up for hosting another game? And maybe running a poll so we can decide on the setting.
