I understand that most people are dumb to not understand this. But Sanders is possibly the biggest thing to happen to American politics in the last many decades. The last major politician in the last half-century was Reagan who shifted the political discourse & then you have Sanders bringing issues people are afraid to bring, showing progressives are more electable than moderates & most of all shifting the country & a generation leftward.

Today Coloradocare who is throwing Obamacare in the bin is winning all polls done convincingly despite the entire Republican Leadership & major Dem Senators, Governors with big lobbyist & Corporate money against it. I have never been wrong about this - Sanders will go down in history as the most influential politician when he will inspire a generation of politicians!

As for the protest vote thing, Sanders ran the closest Primary in Modern history for Dems after 2008 winning 22 states. I mean he won ND, MT & got 49% odd in SD & NM when Clinton had won the race. Now if that is ONLY a protest vote, then you are admitting then Clinton is the most pathetic candidate ever.

There are huge differences between a Bernie & Clinton supporter. For one most Clinton supporters are dumb. Bernie supporters are MUCH MUCH more concerned about the issues. For a Bernie supporter it is more about the future of the progressive movement than Bernie being elected alone. Clinton supporters just support the brand Clinton & personality, I mean Hillary could kill someone & dumb people here would still defend it.

It is natural that Bernie's supporters, especially young people will vote as their discretion. Bernie has based a campaign on "US" not him, a campaign where he repeatedly said none of his supporters are stupid to be told what to do, they have a mind of their human beings & respectfully politicians have to make the case to them.

I know it is hard to understand when you blindly vote for them. Bernie has gone out of his way to help a corrupt candidate who win a screwed up & partisan system. But ultimately Clinton has to make the case - She has to EARN those votes, younger people are not dumb like Super pac paid people in this forum!
