As I said in the other thread, this is a terrible pick and I don't know how I'm going to vote this November now.

Why? It's not like you'll be seeing a lot of him or hearing him much as opposed to Hillary. In all my years, who the VP is has never been much of an issue with me. Except for the Dan Quayle years. He was an embarrassment, but Kaine certainly is smart, articulate, loyal and a decent human being.

He's pro-TPP.  He favors one of the first things Hillary would renege on.

I don't live in a deciding state anyway, so I can vote my conscience.

North Caronlina isn't a swing state?

His profile says he's from Virginia Beach -not that it makes his post make any more sense..  Tongue

As to the veep pick, I am satisfied with it.  Not thrilled, but I can certainly live with a Vice-President Tim Kaine far better than with Julian Castro in the same role.

So, with a Catholic VP candidate on the Dem ticket and the Pope not being very enthusiastic about Trump, it would be interesting to see how excited conservative Catholics will be about the Republican nominee Smiley

Conservative Catholics aren't going to vote for Hillary, period.

Trump and Hillary are both abominations to them, I would imagine.  But if they were to weigh between whether Mike Pence or Tim Kaine is a better representative for them, whom do you think they would pick?

Kaine and Pence are both heretics but only one supports genocide.

They both oppose abortion.
