I'm drunk on Democratic tears. And champagne. I got sprayed with cheap champagne head to toe when they called Wisconsin.

I thought Trump was going to lose. When I saw FL, NC and OH, then I thought, "Wow, this looks interesting".

But the MI, PV and WI flips were simply mind boggling. Oh my god, Australians went into meltdown. My girlfriend needed an oxygen tank and a face mask and had to lie down.

It was at this stage, I started to feel part of what the US Republicans were feeling about the election. Not so much the policy components, but really happy that the Establishment got completely smashed.

Enjoy the Champagne!

I teach political science, but how can I teach them that subject in a world that can elect a fascist? I was seriously on the verge of a nervous breakdown.

Trump is an isolationist and a populist nationalist. But Donald is not a fascist.

Fascism is opposed to democracy and Trump is not opposed to the democratic process. In fact, he successfully employed it to gain the Presidency.
