After Obama's probable re-election, we will have had three consecutive two termers. First time since Jefferson, Madison, and Monroe.
His re-election is far from a given as there are troubling signs down the stretch with the youth and hispanic voters being far less enthusiastic this time around, but technically you are correct that the last three two-termers were Jefferson, Madison, and Monroe (1801-1825). One could make a case that it also occurred with Roosevelt, Truman, and Eisenhower from 1933-1961, however Truman was only elected once since he took over after Roosevelt's death just weeks after the 1945 Inauguaration. He served 8 years, but was only elected once. Still that was a 24+ year stretch with only 3 presidents.
