I'm sure Senator McCain is very grateful to have such good health insurance. And I'm sure all those in Congress are also grateful for their good coverage.

It's what we all deserve.

It is his body saying to him that this is his final term, and he shouldn't risk his remaining years running for yet another.

He should listen.

Yes he should listen to his body. There is more to life than being a Senator in Congress. Time to go fishing and golfing and relax in his very golden years.

That aside, my point is that he is benefiting from something that the Republicans are trying to deny to a large segment of society. And that's a shame.

And I might add that McCain's condition sounds very much like a "pre-existing condition".

I don't wish ill will on anyone and that's why I think all Americans should be able to get the healthcare they need. What happened to Senator McCain could happen to anyone, even to the people proposing to take away care for those in need.

I'm not trying to be classy. I'm trying to make a point, using Senator McCain's unfortunate situation. Everyone needs to be able to rely on care when they need it, and that means everyone, not just the wealthy.
