Considering that the man would easily defeat any challengers in the general election due to his widespread popularity in the state, how exactly is he being selfish?

If he wants to run as an independent, he should run as an independent and not enter the Democratic primary.

He's trying to have it both ways and is looking like a very poor sport in the process.

Lieberman could actually pull this out at the end.

Lieberman spent $10 million on this primary (more than double what Lamont spent).

I really hope Democrats turn out in droves for the general election like they have for this primary.

We need to win 2 of the 3 house seats in CT.

Yes, and it's coming darn close to paying off.

But the "liberal" media said that Lamont was "buying the race"?

I have to agree. Whatever respect I had for him, I lost last night.

This scumbag even continues to reference his website being hacked. Did you hear his "concession" speech?  How do people just blindly lie like that?Huh God, he is a scumbag.  The Lamont campaign should sue for slander.

Lamont is a classy guy. Lieberman is trash.

But remember that O'Reilly is an independent.

Sure he is. And Fox News is fair and balanced.....

Did you see O'Reilly trying to peg Lamont as anti-semitic because on two blogs that supported Lamont there were unknown posters who posted comments about Jews.  Then he said the media was biased for not covering it.  Of course no one covered it!  That carries as much weight as if they'd reported opebo's comments!

I know. I love this.

Right-wingers want to hold Democrats accountable for random comments made on some blog. It's pretty unbelievable, but typical of the scumbags they are.

Imagine if Fox News was held accountable for all the crazy sh*t that comes out of Hannity, Gibson, and O'Reilly's mouths (among others)?
