Who wouldn't like to get paid more? Lol deciding this based off public referendum is dumb. The public does't understand minimum wage, they just think "more money=good!".  An 18 year old working at Burger King is not worth $15 an hour.  Those jobs will be automated right away.

An inevitable outcome regardless.

automated jobs? Am I wrong, or do you actually think that would be a good direction to go ahead in.

It's not a matter of good or bad; it's an intrinsic part of economic history: new jobs are created while old ones become obsolete.
