How would this "check" work, exactly?  I'm a little skeptical of allowing non-members to vote when it takes less than five seconds to change your registration.

I think the easiest way to conduct the "check" is to have delegates vote on who can vote in the primaries. This will allow for the party to reject anyone that could be deemed as dangerous.

No: allow independents who have voted for the Labor candidate in the previous three Presidential elections to take part in primary votes; not just any independents. This would enable the party to become more inclusive of left leaning Atlasians who don't wish to be involved in party politics by allowing them to have a say in who the "leftist" candidate is for President.

Okay.  Sounds reasonable.
