I trust them more than the Trump administration.

This.

I also trust them them to be doing what they think is best for the country, regardless of whether it is best for them personally. I don't necessarily trust their judgement as to what is best for this country of ours.

And this.

I'm not exactly confident in the intelligence community's assessment on what liberties we must sacrifice for our security, but I know that Trump doesn't give a fig about such philosophical and ethical conundrums and only cares about enriching himself.
