I now open this up to the floor for debate.

EDIT: Before he left for Fremont, 1184AZ wrote this bill. As he is no longer a member of the Chamber and cannot sponsor this bill, I have taken over as sponsor.

I would like to propose an amendment:

1.All Southern Citizens 18 years or older may change their gender on government ID.
2.No Bussiness in the South may discriminate on the basis of Gender Identity.

13 is a bit too young in my opinion primarily due to possible concerned parents.

Would you settle for 16 so long as they have their parents or guardians permission?

How about this?

I'm willing to vote for this. I'll see what others think before I call for a vote.

Are we all okay with this amendment? It's a combination of OneJ_'s and Ben's.

Can you elaborate on what #3 (really #4) actually means because I actually misread it?

I think what Ben was going for, was to allow for businesses to not hire or serve people they don't want, so long as they offer an alternative.

And one more thing.

I would like there to be some discussion about this last amendment. I think you can get the gist of it, but the wording seems somewhat off.

With 2 AYE votes, no NAY votes, 2 delegates not voting, and 1 delegate abstaining, the AYEs have it and Ben Kenobi's amendment passes.

I now open a 36-hour vote on the final bill.

Since the end of the vote is only thirty minutes away, and the result is already determined, i'm just going to end the vote now.

With 1 AYE vote, 3 NAY votes, and 1 member not voting, The NAYs have it and the bill has failed.
