I don't think there will be a November surprise. But there will be an awful lot of things which people claim are a November surprise.
If the emails fiasco hasn't impacted the polls (and we wait to see if it has, but early indications are that it's made little difference), despite nearly three whole days of media hysteria, then nothing else will.
In any case, as I've said elsewhere, it's unlikely anything will be surprising enough to be surprising from this point on.
