If this is not a joke, then this is incredibly sad.  If it is some kind of sick joke than Tender should be permabanned immediately.  This is Yates level ed up if it is Tender's idea of an April Fools prank.

On what grounds? I can get banning him for a few months for creating a sock, but a permaban for what looks like an April Fool's joke seems a little steep.

I don't think it is an excessively harsh punishment at all.  You do not f!ck around about this kind of stuff, period.
