Milliken or Romney were both very good Governors. Blanchard is okay as well.

Snyder has been a mess and I also think Granholm was not up to the job.

The thing with Blanchard is (IIRC) he came into office facing a far bigger mess than Millken or Romney.  On paper, his tenure should've been a complete disaster given the shape Michigan was in when he took office.
