Shut the fyck up. Nazis don't believe in democracy to begin with. They don't get to hide behind it when they (rightfully) get socked in the face.

i agree that democracy should be able to defend itself, imho punching nazi leaders nearly never helps anyone. my own country has a neo-nazi history since 1955....established party structures directly connected to the real nazis and calling nazis nazis didn't cost them one single vote.

those people are on the rise globally and while i don't know how stopping them coule work atm....punching their leaders isn't a solution. tougher laws on the other hand...but the free speech in the US collides with that goal.

if i as an austria may say something in that area.....

1) the punishment systems for the german countries after the first world accelerated the chance for the second one big scale.

2) every idiot who wanted to know it could have forseen hitler's risk for the system since he was in prison for trying to OVERTHROW the government

3) a nazi terrorist group killed the austrian catholic-fascist autocrat in 1934.

4) the weimar system fought hard against left-wing/communist revolutionaries but didn't dare to punish right-wing revolutionaries in the same way.

5) hitler never lied about his goals.....which was clear if you read "mein kampf"...he just sugar-coated them in front of his bourgeoisie-industriy friends.

the same as with everybody else.....or:

stereotyped body build - a reason which makes it less likely for me to date a stereotyped east asia girl.

problem starts if you make a general rule out of this. ^^
