do you know what the strange thing is:

EVERYONE knows about this, since the trump campaign BRAGGED about those contacts and it is exactly the kind of relationship the critical viewer would expect.

trump is not on the payroll of putin, he is just taking every straw which would help him winning - OOORRRR...also possible....he surrounds himself with people who aren't disgusted about this, like mister stone.

forget impeachment.

not going to happen.

but...trump's team/campaign/political credibility would take an enormous hit, which would hurt in 2018, combined with a reaaaaally unpopular reform agenda.

the whole "MUH RUSSIA"-crowd would be forced to shut up for years and realize the reality that they got played.

This definitely looks bad, but it seems like there isn't yet conclusive evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian operatives, just information that could potentially lead to said evidence, so it's still a bit soon to talk about impeachment.

Thus far, this story reminds me a lot of the golden shower fiasco in that unnamed sources leak some "information" and everyone runs wild with it. Until we have some confirmation, this is meaningless speculation.

to be fair, the dossier surrounding the golden shower thingie was done by a most credible agent who said himself that this whole thing is as complicated as hell and hard to prove.

parts of the media killed it through making it a yellow-press story.
