This election is now close to being over. Trump recovering in the polls, Email investigation, and stocks dropping should be enough for him to win.

But, that's the problem. This should be enough for him to win, but it won't because Trump was done so much damage for his campaign and image that even this, sure can improve his numbers, won't be enough.

Details of FBI: They found 3 emails that "might" be relevant to the case. None of them were withheld by Clinton.

Speculation here, but I think it's likely that:

1. The relevant emails were between Huma and Hillary (otherwise how would they be relevant to the original investigation?).

2. These emails between Huma/Hillary were deleted from Hillary's private server (otherwise FBI would already have been in possession of them).

But didn't they investigate the emails from her closest staff?

This. Also, the release of that letter by that congressman could also be classified as wrongdoing, right? Isn't illegal to release information about an ongoing investigation?

3 emails out of thousands belonging to emails from huma and weiner, were from Clinton.

We don't know it yet. Some (you referreing to) sources say 3, NyT sources say thouthands. I doubt that FBI would make a note about 3 emails and "determine whether they contain classified information, as well as to assess their importance to our investigation".

Not disagreeing about the thousands of emails. But the thousands of emails are from huma/weiner email accounts and the FBI is looking into whether Clinton had sent them classified information which would be unlikely.

The main problem was the way this was announced. If in that letter, the FBI said that they found emails on laptops from Huma and Weiner who had emails sent to Clinton, and we are going to see if there's nothing wrong with them, it would still be news of course, but it wouldn't become this weird circus.

In politics, what seems, is. And this is turning out to be very amateur.

So, according to Washington Post, Comey sent the letter without knowing if the e-mails are indeed duplicates just to cover his ass in case someone from the FBI leaked their existence.

 Update he now is talking about how the NY FBI office pressed to have the A. Weiner info leaked

He's now saying that the NY @FBI office and DC office are openly feuding due to the #EricGarner case takeover

Same @FBI official says it's reckless and crazy to have released this letter now but it ultimately shows the inner agency struggle

Look, Comey screwed up things very nicely. Everybody acknowledges that. Period.
But, this wouldn't be a problem if Hillary just had not use that f***ing private server. No one looks good in this picture, nor Clinton, nor the FBI. End of story.

Almost toxic one might say. The problem is not the story.

The problem is that Hillary reacted quite aggressively about these issues lending credence to the possibility that they are onto something big.

The FBI email investigation is going to tilt the key states towards Trump if this keeps topping headlines on the main news websites.

I don't know. The reports that FBI is trumpland, and then the permanent leaks... Some say there's nothing here, others OMG! This is the smoking gun... I honestly think that, like the rape story, this will also fall flat.

The investigation is just in a mess right know, that anybody could say anything.
