Ah, I just had you pegged as "liberal internationalist" in my book.

I'm definitely influenced by this view in many regards, and agree with its basic points but I don't really agree that all actors are rational and thus would be influenced by institutions lowering the cost of cooperation in the same way. A lot of my worldview is constructivist, in the regard that how we view other actors, how we're influenced by institutions etc all vary depending on the socially constructed way we view them. I sometimes agree with points realists make, too.
