Yes. The states entered into the union voluntarily, so they should be allowed to leave it. And Obama would have still won if it hadn't existed in both '08 and '12, so it's not like Dems need it.

I agree, but that is a terrible argument. With the exception of the 13 colonies, Vermont, and Texas, the states are creations of congress. Even then Texas and the rest of the south got forced back into the union anyway.

Yes, although what really gets me worked up is not Trump, but how insignificant California is in the senate, and how complacent Californians are about their votes mattering less.
