Any news of the AA turnout in Detroit and North Carolina?
I've felt a lot better about MI over the past 48 hours. There was a substantial uptick in the amount of absentee ballots returned in the City of Detroit. I've only heard anecdotes about ED turnout, but newscasters and reporters are describing it as "strong" and "very robust."
I can give you one bit of hard news: My precinct in Ann Arbor is located on the central campus of the University of Michigan. In 2012, there were 761 ballots cast in this precinct. I checked with my friend who is a poll worker at this station and he said that election-day turnout has already eclipsed 600+ votes as of 2:00PM, so it's very likely we're going to break that at the very least.
