I do not have a choice in Mexico, alas. But in the US the obvious answer is "no".  I have no clue what s/he would want to put in there. Nor if s/he wants to do a nice little forfeiture for the benefit of her county.

Then, again, I do not drive and my wife does not want to drive in the US, so chances of me being in my own car in the US are negligible. It would have to be someone else's car, and even if I am sitting alone - especially if I am sitting there alone - I would not want to consent.
