His position on "Maryland's Ugly Flag" (see left column) is a hoot: "You will immediately find Maryland's flag to be the ugliest flag in America. In fact, after further study, I have concluded Maryland has the ugliest flag in the world." He describes the state song as "okay."
Actually I think Maryland's state flag (which represents the coat of arms of the Calvert and Baltimore families) is one of the coolest and most unique in the country.
And in response to the topic, this is actually pretty funny. I don't recall ever seeing a politician turn to the occult when facing his opponent. Steele will win the primary, of course.
