Only two people have run for Southern Chamber?
What happens if not enough people run to have it working?
The problem is that it isn't seen as competitive enough. Only Lincoln is seen as remotely competitive, but even their senate or governor races are usually likely Labor (bordering safe).
Of course southern chamber, Labor could arguably get some people in, and they're probably waiting until the latest moment, but I indeed think there is a lack of enthusiasm because let's be honest, Atlasia is very inelastic, there's not much movement and the regions itself aren't that competitive, and so are the nationwide races. (which are Likely Labor / likely Labor-affiliated too).
Like i had to move from Fremont to Lincoln, because let's be honest, what could I even do in Fremont? Usually one candidate (the incumbent or someone the party names as him or her successor) runs and people vote, the few non-Labor guys left just write-in someone (Lumine or ASV) and that's been the case for multiple years. It's just not really exciting.
I think you feel this way FWIW because you’ve burnt more bridges with the power players in Fremont compared to any other region, which in part would explain the write ins.
