Minnick opposes all of that which Obama proposes. The end. I have not thought this seat was really in play, unless and until I saw something to the contrary, and then it would have surprised me, although in this crazy environment, not shocked me.

Plus the GOP guy is a Mormon in the half of the state with a drastically lower Mormon percentage than the other half, and that matter lurks under the surface (annoyance of the influence of a rather exclusive uber-networked club in which one does not belong, which within one's state has a very high visibility), where other concerns are not sufficiently salient.

The question is, will he vote for Pelosi for Speaker?
Of course he will. He's already done it.

He might not, if his vote made a difference. I am not saying that will be the case, I am saying "might."
