NY has unbelievably low turnouts except for POTUS general elections. NY is a very cynical place. But then that is because its politics is cynical, but in a weird way, it sort of works. Ideology so often just gets in the way, or getting matters done in a practical way.

Quite a discrepancy in the vote between the two boroughs. I wonder how much of it is due to where the candidates are from, and how much of it is due to underlying partisan differences. Is the Brooklyn part of NY-11 really that Democratic?
