Is there any reason to keep Garcia at this point ? Sure, Peru 2011 was a fun election, but all the contenders left (and several already out) have something more noteworthy.

As for me, it's more nostalgia of the hugely messy Peru of the 1980s, with a crazy Garcia and me reading (then) Le Monde Diplomatique... Tongue
So, Garcia 2 and the peaceful transitions in Peru now are quite an achievement.
But, indeed, he can go now, though I don't vote easily for him Tongue
(and he must go before Saleh, sure Wink)

Bin Laden immune ?
Oh, it's not very easy to have to go to the OP each round... Tongue

Then, my updated vote is this:
5 Papandreou
3 DSK
2 Ben Ali

Eliminate
Bin Laden
Berlusconi

Keep
Saleh
Cmon fab! We got 5 Arabs and The Bunga Bunga Man left. Lets keep some diversity in the final.
With your selection it will be four Arab dictators.

My problem is that I'd want Ben Ali to go first...
And that I want Bin Laden to go before Mubarak.
So, as Edu has understood it, as Berlusconi isn't threatened in this round, I can waste a vote on him... Tongue

It should work. It must work. It will work.
Won't it ?

Eliminate Bin Laden

Keep Berlusconi / Gaddafi

I don't use immunities any longer: it's unfair, indeed, as some occasional voters can decide a name is untouchable for some rounds and as it gives an undue advantage and kill suspense a bit.
But everyone does as (s)he wants in games (s)he manages !

One other bad idea I've practised and dropped: comeback rounds Grin
It backfires... I remember I was happy to ressuscitate Beria just to see Lenin back too (and stay !) in my Soviet survivor Wink

Anyway, I'll kill Ben Ali as soon as I can Grin

Ben Ali / Gaddafi (8 points)
Gaddafi / Berlusconi (2 points)
Berlusconi / Ben Ali (5 points)

10-5-0 in a way Tongue
but it's fine to make Ben Ali lose by many, many points, I guess...

You should have waited for Edu and hughento before closing the round Sad
Gaddafi could have won.

Berlusconi is a good survivor too, because he was vanquished by markets and that was even clearer than in Greece. And, before, he seemed unbeatable... so, his quick fall was a fine event in 2011.
