If Corker becomes Secretary of State, who will Haslam pick to replace Corker?

Bill Frist, Randy McNally, and Beth Harwell are the three most likely nominees.
Bill Frist? Would he consider running again if Haslam appoints him? Would Haslam himself run?

I could see Frist as a "placeholder" till an election for the seat happens.
Would Frist want to be a Senator again?

If he does, that means one more vote to keep Obamacare.
Frist doesn't want to repeal Obamacare? Not even certain parts, like the mandate?

I see Marsha Blackburn being a real possibility of being appointed, but she's too conservative to keep the seat non-competitive.

Please name one Democrat who would have a non-zero chance of beating Blackburn.

There's always a non-zero chance.
Not in California! #BanJunglePrimaries
I have a better idea, a top four +3% jungle primary where four candidates plus any other candidates who receive at least 3% of the vote (if there are any). This means there are 4, or maybe even 5 or 6 candidates in November; possibly even some third-party candidates.

Yeah, like Joe Manchin in 2010.
Manchin wasn't the placeholder, it was Carte Goodwin.
