LA already has the facilities needed to host the Olympics,they just need more hotels and they will be set . LA unlike Athens/Rio likely will profit of the Olympics like they did in the past as well .

Hundreds of millions of dollars will be spent on facilities, even though LA already has some of them, Beach volleyball stadiums, temporary pools, Canoe courses, Cycling courses, etc. etc. It'll cost billions of dollars to do the olympics and frankly who cares?
