About $2.85/gallon. We're always well below the national average.

I guess I was a little too smug because the price just shot over three dollars. This blows!

NJ is, as of today, the only state with gas prices below $3.00/gal. (New Hampshire went over $3.00/gal today.) My closest gas station is currently at $2.90/gal for regular.

I heard on the Weather Channel this morning that South Carolina is also under $3.00, even closer to $2.70.

http://www.gasbuddy.com/

New Jersey's at $2.934/gal. South Carolina is exactly at $3.000/gal.

EDIT: While I was posting that, South Carolina dropped to $2.996/gal, which is still essentially $3.00/gal but technically below it.
The newspaper said we had the lowest in the nation. It's 2.90 where i live.

Yeah, but you still can't pump it yourself. Suckers!

€ 1.40/liter = ca. $8.50/gallon...It's depressing Smiley

In Holland, gas is approaching 1.6€ the liter or 10$ the gallon ... Tongue

Your country is also the size of a shoebox, so it shouldn't matter too much.

I paid $3.87 at an Exxon station (cheapest gas that won't wreck your car)

But I saw $3.69 if you pay with cash at a "Gasway" Station

Weird how that's totally a regional phenomenon. I've never seen a Southern gas station that charges more or less depending on method of payment.

I didn't think alcohol-mixed gas was all that common outside agricultural regions of the US. We don't even have much of that up here. You certainly wouldn't like driving through South Dakota or Iowa though.

10% ethanol is everywhere here.

I'm guessing that Obama is trying to scare some of the speculators away with the "I may be considering thinking about contemplating tapping the reserves."

$2.46 right up the street.

Thank you, GOP House!
The GOP House is responsible for your extremely high gas prices?

It was much higher during the Pelosi Speakership or, as I like to call it, The Bad Times.
Not entirely true. Gas prices were much lower in the final months of Jr's presidency.
