Depends on the nominee.

If it's Cory Booker then most Midwestern states will trend R but if the nominee is someone like Sherrod Brown or Al Franken then it'd be a much different trend map.

Ohio
Iowa
Missouri
Wisconsin
Minnesota

Trend R

Illinois
Nebraska
Kansas
South Dakota
North Dakota

Don't know

Indiana

I think Indiana could buck the Democratic Midwestern trend for 2020 since Pence will most likely be the GOP nominee.
