The NYT confirms they don't have the memo, but they've "seen it" lol.

Guess I'll have to wait and see if another media outlet confirms this story.

NBC is now reporting that James Comey (!!!) as confirmed the story.

Oh sh!t what up

It's stuff like this that shows that demagogues really aren't a threat to this country. If they manage to pass through the first barrier (the electoral college), they will be bogged down with people in government who oppose him/her. Carter was a more tame example of this.

This is pretty interesting to watch.

I cannot wait until comey's book comes out.

I agree. The fact that our intelligence community is able to prevent tyrants from coming to power is reassuring.

Do you think this is likely more of a case of trump simply being unaware and ignorant of what proper conversation with people in government are, or do you think it is more likely him being a willingly corrupt player in all of this.

Either is worrisome, but I don't think you can completely discount the former explanation.

Both

There's no friggin way Trump will stay on as president for four years.

i am a little bit "afraid" congress will just sit it out, give trump a slap on the wrist and ignore it otherwise to no be disturbed while pushing through their agenda.

if this doesn't happen now, it may happen never.

Wouldn't they prefer Pence to Trump though?

they would but i am not sure if the trump coalition would follow them in midterms or 2020.

Perhaps, although at a certain point Pence will be less toxic than Trump is when it comes to their electoral chances.

This just keeps getting better and better.

No, it keeps getting worse and worse. If the allegations are true, it's not something that is "good" regardless of party. It hurts everyone. Watergate hurt everyone and american trust in gov't has not recovered since.

Nixon and Watergate inadvertently helped Reagan usher in a political era based around the notion that government wasn't the solution to our problems, but that it itself was the problem. Many will argue that these forces were already in motion, but Nixon and Watergate definitely helped propel them.

I TOLD MY FELLOW REPUBLICANS ABOUT THIS. DAY IN AND DAY OUT. THIS WOULD HAPPEN. Throughout 2016. Did they listen?

Nooooo they did not. We'll see if this gets him impeached. I want to see it before I believe it.

During the primaries you did?

And general. I kept screaming about him, lol. I told them he would wreck the party and use us like he's done to everyone else in his life.

Haha I see. I think this was always Ben Shapiro's biggest fear about Trump as well.

National Review has lost all credibility. The only sources we can still trust are Michael Savage, Breitbart and Infowars.

This is laughable. This supposedly happened in February, but Comey never says anything about it (as he would have been required to do) and then goes in front of Congress, under oath, and says that he wasn't pressured?

The Mccabe, an Obama appointee who hates Trump with a passion, denies the same thing under oath to Congress?

It's obvious that the Compost and NYSlimes are coordinating with the DNC and Schmuck Schumer. Notice Schmuck Schumer has a prepared comment for every new "revelation" by the Compost and the Slimes.

This is the same game plan that the media ran during the campaign, the same one that had all of you believing Hillary! was up by 10 points and had the election in the bag.

You can stamp your feet all you want, you can cry and dream about impeachment, but it isn't happening.

You unironically use phrases like "Compost," "NYSlimes," and "Schmuck Schumer." Every argument and comment you make is so obviously shallow and unconvincing that I genuinely believe there's a one-in-three chance you're a Democrat who just likes to troll.

Because you just can't stand that someone might have a different opinion than you.

I honestly believe that the MSM is the single greatest threat to America that has ever existed.

Stop trolling

I know this sounds petty, but I am feeling prety suicidal over all this. Not because I like trump, but because I fear the next 20 years will be nothing but democrat/liberal control due to fallout.

Nothing lasts that long in American politics.

1932-1946 was the closest. Still a long time (14 years).

Pence is better for us than Trump. Much better (if not complicit).

I really don't think he is.

Complicit or better?

Both. He followed Trump like a sheep all the way through. I don't think a Pence presidency will be beneficial to the US, especially due to all the damage he did in Indiana.

Did he bankrupt Indiana?

well, pence is at least no danger for the nation and everything he does can be reversed by the next president.

Personally I think Pence is a much greater danger--he has the demeanor and temperament to get worse done than Trump, but be low key about it so as not to draw as much opposition, and make his policies seem more benign than they are.

Honestly I'd rather Trump finish his term and have even one day of the alternative.

Pence isn't going to have much political capital.

People are really underestimating how long a potential investigation/impeachment proceeding would last. If Trump is removed it will be in early-mid 2018 and by then, not much time left to push through the GOP agenda.

I'm pretty sure Ivanka will be able to convince her father to resign before any of that happens.

History is not going to be kind to Paul Ryan.

He's the most hated man on twitter.

Fox News has confirmed the Memo:

Like I'm suppose to believe that a Communist infiltrated news network like Fox News is telling the truth.

I won't believe it until Alex Jones informs me that it's true.

New thread may be needed shortly:

TheReaganBattalion
@ReaganBattalion
Source: Major newspaper has a big Trump story coming in the next 24-48 hours that may be even more damaging than the Comey/Flynn story.

If true, whee! What could be the latest bombshell?! Day 9 or 10, and counting.
