I filled up for 5.13$ today. Prices have actually increased here from a few weeks ago (4.90-95), despite the price of oil going down to 50-55$/barrell from about 60$.

Today, food-discounter Hofer (in Germany "Aldi") started their first discount gas stations in Austria with prices that are 50% lower than all the other gas stations. There were traffic jams ranging to 10km, even tons of people from Germany went over the border to fill up the tank, creating massive jams between Salzburg and Bavaria.

The regular price is about 1.1€ per Liter (about 5.8$ the gallon). The picture below has gas at 3.2$ the gallon ...

Some Jet gas stations even lowered their prices for Diesel to 0.51€/liter (2.7$/gallon) to counter the Hofer-attack ...

We have those Aldis everywhere around here. Not worth it from what I heard.

If the gas price is down to US levels because of them it's worth it.

Here the price is now 1.1€/liter for diesel and 1.2€/liter for normal gas.

Which is about 5.8$/gallon for diesel and 6.4$/gallon for normal gas.

Filled up my (Diesel) car yesterday and gas prices have become cheaper in the last few weeks:

I paid 1.25€/liter, which is ca. 6.13$/gallon.

Down from 6.80$ a few weeks ago.

Prices here are definitely higher than in Tender's area, which is no surprise given that everything's more expensive here
It has been long since I saw a station with less than 1.39€, but it goes up until 1.49€ per litre on good/bad days (depending on one's POV)
That's about 7.00$ - 7.50$ per gallon
That's diesel, gasoline is about as expensive, maybe 10c more...

I see gas in Europe is far more expensive than in the states

Yes, the Avanti in Rum seems to be the cheapest around you, with 1.29 (which is still 5 cents more than the Maxi-Tank here in Bruck).

Basically no gas stations in the Western part of Tyrol is among the cheapest, only those in the Kitzbühel and Kufstein districts.

The chart below says 1.19€/liter, but that's the average for Diesel here.

I saw it today for 1.11€/liter during a drive-by, which is ca. 5.20$/gallon.

We currently have one of the lowest gas prices in Europe:

The diesel cost 1.04€ per liter in the morning @ the MaxiTank gas station where I frequently fill up (it's one of the cheapest stations in the state).

That's ca. 4.82$ for the gallon.

It's also the lowest diesel price here since 2009/10. I remember that the price then was as low as 0.92€ per liter.

That's about 4.42$/gallon.

I just filled up for 1,10€ per litre, that'd be 1,20$/litre and something around 4$/gallon. That's incredibly cheap for my area.

Tyrol is a little more expensive then.

I saw it for 0.975€/liter today near Zell am See. But I use diesel, not gas.

I filled up for 0.84€ per liter a few days ago, no joke.

That's only 3.44$ per gallon, which is only half the price from a few years ago.

I have never seen sub 0.90€ prices before, not even in 2009 ...
